6 ripened tomatoes
Fresh Mozzarella ball
¼ c Greensboro Olive Traders Basil Infused Olive Oil
¼ c Greensboro Olive Traders 25 Star Dark Balsamic Vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste
12 basil leaves
- Preheat oven to 350°f
- Slice tomatoes in half and place on a baking sheet lined with tin foil cut side up
- Drizzle tomatoes with olive oil and balsamic, sprinkle with salt and pepper, place basil on each slice with sliced mozzarella on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until skin is blistered and tomatoes are soft
- Drizzle tomatoes with additional oil and vinegar to taste. Serve with bread if desired
